Why is it not ordinary? Because, I tell you what you need to know to succeed, not what you want to hear. I personally subscribe to almost every internet marketing newsletter I come across, but soon cancel 95% of them.
Why? Because they are garbage!
They all promote the same damn internet marketing package to make a buck off their subscribers, they all elude to giving priceless internet marketing secrets but never say anything I haven't heard before, they all advertise and advertise and rarely have any useful content. It's pisses me off!
I cuss, I yell, I tell some really bad jokes, and I give you practical information. But I will never send out an email just trying to make a buck off of you.
I of course will recommend certain things, because lets face it, among all the crap, there are a few diamonds -- but I will NEVER EVER abuse your trust in me by peddling the latest product packages just to make the commission. That I solemnly swear.

Now, I'm sure you've seen lots of garbage "how to make money on the internet" newsletters and websites out there written by people who have never made any real money selling real products themselves (and who would be dead broke and living in the streets if it weren't for the gullible people who get fooled into buying the garbage "internet marketing" ebooks that advertised along side the run-of-the-mill internet marketing articles.)

These offline business experiences have been directly helpful in growing online businesses. Although the application of business and marketing principles are different, the philosophy behind them are much the same.
